Drinks America...I will post more about this company later but they are Distributing and making Trump Vodka. One of Trumps closest friends started Grey Goose in '97...they just sold to Bacardi for 2.5 Billion. Trumps main goal is to "Trump" his GG buddy.

Grey Goose sold 17,000 cases in '97...first year

Trump Vodka has sold 17,000 cases in the first month and only in 4 states. Will be in all 50 states by end of Feb.

Horrid looking balance sheet and income statements. Novelty of Trump Vodka will wear off and company will be in bankruptcy like Trump's casinos. Tread very cautiously.

I will never invest in a Trump company. Guy is a slimmy joke. Always using leverage to the extreme and going bankrupt when it's in HIS best interest. I may miss out, but I will sleep better knowing I don't have to trust him to make me money.

I don't think its right how much the execs are making and I believe scrupulous activity is going on with how much Tillerson the CEO is making...but I still own Exxon Mobil.

There's alot of companies that are in the midst of stock option scandals that are probably in your portfolio

I agree, you make money when and where you can. What's the symbol on this one. I'll watch it. I just don't trust companies that have been bankrupt. ie. Kmart combined with Sears and became SHLD and I said for the first few years I would never go into Kmart and haven't, but should of bought SHLD. I have no problem owning sin stocks, I just need to trust management and Trump I don't trust.

The Bottom Line

Donald Trump has used his name for a variety of products, spanning almost every aspect of luxury life, so why not hit the adult beverage market as well? Late in 2006, the Trump empire made this expansion and, despite the name, it failed to impress. The official name, "Trump: The World's Finest Super Premium Vodka," seems to be an overstatement as I can think of at least 30 vodkas that are cleaner and smoother. Trump himself is not a drinker but one would think that he would at least tag his name to superior products, sadly in this case the name and the marketing behind it disguises the real spirit inside.

Pros

• Stunning bottle design that says luxury, luxury, luxury.
• A gauranteed conversation starter when showing up at a party, bottle in hand.

Cons

• Dissappointing overall considering the brand name.
• Heady, alcoholic taste that feels as though too much will produce a not-so-luxurious hangover.

I like to make $$$ but the reviews on the vodka looks like a cheap grain vodka in a striking bottle.........sorta like his wives????

thanks for info but will pass...mostlikely as will the RUSH to buy this product by the SPECIAL people, you know the ones, they all have horrible headaches the night after four Trumptinis!

From a consumer/educated drinker perspective...this vodka won't make it. The market (vegas clubland is my market testing point) is waaay oversaturated with Vodka's anyway. Goose has a ridiculous stronghold for premium vodka drinkers. Yes, there are many others, but honestly, if you're paying $500 for table service at a club, wouldn't you feel like a complete punk ordering "Trump Vodka"? I would. And with the massive influx of many premium vodkas this past few years (pravda, jewel of russia, etc.) I don't think Trump can ride the tide for very long.

Good luck on your investment, however. May you make short term gains and win one for the little guy who is not affiliated with the hedge fund whores.
